Our dojo has two locations: Gendokan in Vernon Hills, IL, and Genseikan in Prospect Heights, IL. All are welcome, and beginners may start training at any time.

Great Lakes Aikido is a member dojo of Aikido Shimbokukai, an association striving to bring people together through Aikido training and to promote friendship and the exchange of ideas. Aikido Shimbokukai is officially recognized by the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo.
